CLOTEX first time launched in veterinary practice by Welcomevet Pharma Pvt. Ltd.
CLOTEX is haemostatic agent used in Veterinary to control spontaneous & postoperative haemorrhage.

Mode of Action:

  • CLOTEX increases capillary wall resistance.
  • CLOTEX reduces bleeding from capillaries.
  • CLOTEX increases ability of blood cells (platelets) to clump together and form clots.

Indication:

  • CLOTEX is indicated in post operative bleeding
  • CLOTEX is haemostatic (for all type bleeding such as blood in milk & operative cases) agent used in veterinary to control spontaneous and postoperative hemorrhage
  • CLOTEX is indicated in Dystocia and after parturition

Composition:

Each ml contains:

  • Etamsylate B.P.: 250 mg
  • Water for injection I.P.: qs.

Etamsylate Injection (Vet.)

Dosage and Administration:

  • 15–20 mg per kg body weight or for Adult Animals – 20–30 ml IM/IV route
  • The dose can be repeated for further 2 to 3 days in order to obtain control on bleeding
