CLOTEX is haemostatic agent used in Veterinary to control spontaneous & postoperative haemorrhage.
Mode of Action:
• CLOTEX increases capillary wall resistance.
• CLOTEX reduces bleeding from capillaries.
• CLOTEX increases ability of blood cells (platelets) to clump together and form clots.
Indication:
• CLOTEX is indicated in post operative bleeding.
• CLOTEX is Haemostatic (for all type bleeding such as blood in milk & operative cases) agent used in veterinary to control spontaneous and postoperative Haemorrhage.
• CLOTEX is indicated in Dystocia and after parturition.
Packaging – 30 ml RC vial
Composition:
Each ml contains:
Etamsylate B.P.: 250 mg
Water for injection I.P.: qs.
Etamsylate Injection (Vet.)
Dosage and Administration:
15-20 mg per kg body weight or for Adult Animals-20-30 ML IM/IV route.
The dose can be repeated for further 2 to 3 days to obtain control on bleeding.
